Setting Up Gridhost Mail Accounts: Apple Mail, iPhone Outlook, Thunderbird
Following trial, error, and further trial, I am firmly committed to a business called TSO for customer hosting. Their support is second to none, and I Had not bore you while my compliments could justify a blog post in itself. TSO use an email client called Gridhost, and this blog will demonstrate how you can put in their mailbox be it Apple Mail, iPhone, Microsoft Outlook, Gmail or Thunderbird.

Getting Your Settings Right
The matter about emails — as with most aspects of hosting — is that their need to be 100% correct. 1 number from place and things just won’t connect. Install With Gmail
Gmail involves two setups — the capacity to send emails, and the means to receive them.
Visit Settings > Account & Import
Proceed to Send Mail As and Insert Another Email Address For Your Own
Input your name and new email address.
Click Next Step.
For SMTP Server enter mail3.gridhost.co.uk
For Port select 465
For username compose your new email address
For password compose your mailbox
Select Secured Connection With SSL
Visit webmail.gridhost.co.uk and login with all the aforementioned details.
Copy the confirmation code delivered by Google.
Enter the confirmation code and click verify
Inside This page:
Your username is your new email address
Your password is the mailbox
Your POP Server is mail.yourdomain.com
Your Port is 110
Select’label incoming message…’
Click Add Account
What today? You can choose your email address from the dropdown menu, when you click on Compose. After that you can place the address to default option by returning to Settings and tap to Send Mail As.
Install With Microsoft Outlook
If you are using Microsoft Outlook, the installation is fairly straightforward:
Visit Settings > Connected Accounts
In Add a connected account click other email accounts
Return to Settings > Connected Accounts, pick your account and click the edit symbol to go into advanced settings
Beneath Server info add the following
Incoming port: 993
Outgoing server: mail3.gridhost.co.uk
Outgoing port: 465
Click save and go! Next, wait for MS to import all of your settings. An folder along with your email address must appear in your inbox. Now you can send and receive Gridhost emails using Microsoft Outlook.
Install With Thunderbird
Go to File, New and Present Mail Account
Type your display name, email address and password. Click continue and be carried to the display.
